About two years ago, two of the largest talent agencies in Austin namely Wilhelmina Austin and Heyman Talent South came together and started off as The Brown Agency. The coming together of the two giant companies is of much importance since they will begin to share the exceptional strength and capacity vested in each of the entities. As a result of the merge, the Brown Agency stands as the only full-service agency located in Austin. It also stands out as one of the few top organizations in the larger Texas.
Wilhelmina Austin began its operations in the year 2010 and had been conspicuous as a respected agency in central Texas for nurturing modeling talent. It specialized in commercial prints, television among others. Heyman Talent South, on the other hand, had established itself as the most outstanding agency in nurturing acting talents. With the merger of the two companies, clients can rest be assured that they will be presented with a broader portfolio of accomplished talent even be presented with greater opportunities across the country.
The headquarters of the Brown Agency is based in Austin. It, however, has operational offices in Dallas and Los Angeles. Justine Brown, who was the president of Wilhelmina, Austin was named the chief executive officer and chairperson of the Brown Agency, while Michael B. Bonnee of the former Heyman Talent South was picked out to be heading the theatrical division at the Brown Agency. While speaking at the launch of the new company, the chief executive Justin Brown praised the move to merge and said that it is an important part of growth, since the product is a full-service agency.
In a report by Market Wired, he also said that the relaunch of the company is opening up opportunities to serve even more clients and talents. The move placed the two companies in a better place where they can prepare themselves to deal with the larger market presented to them. Brown Agency is expected to deliver, better, elegant, dependable and even more professional talents. On his side, Michael B. Bonnee said that with the combined talents and expertise, the experience would be fascinating. In December 2015, a celebration of the official launch was held.
While still a student of business management in college, Justin Brown was working as a model at a modeling agency. Brands would design clothes that fit his body shape, and he would, in turn, showcase them. With this hustle, Justin would make $100 an hour. Justin later quit the job because he had much interest in what happened behind the cameras. He embarked on development and placement, where he trained models to do their endeavors like pros, and he would find work for them or help them graduate in modeling. Today, Justin manages to do that in the Brown Agency.
